He is very orderly. He builds chairs to sit, still, and composed. To stand as one should stand.  But suddenly she arrives, with her bag full of objects and colors as different as the things the world is made of. That's how, with a little imagination in the midst of all that order and a little order in the midst of a lot of imagination, the two characters will begin to transform the chairs around them and to transform themselves, to discover that the other is not so far from us.
