“I promessi sposi” by Alessandro Manzoni is one of the most important novels in Italian literature and a book adopted in all italian schools. We have placed the theme of love at the center of the story, giving Lucia the role of protagonist, accompanied by a character who embodies many of the figures present in the novel and at times even interprets Alessandro Manzoni himself. Thus, a show has been created that does noi aim to be a summery but rather synthesizes the 38 chapters into a game between the two protagonists, Andrea Robbiano and Flavia Marchionni, which will take the pages of “I promessi sposi” far from the school benches and lead young people to discover the importance of reading classics
