The new work by Tam Teatromusica is a theatrical narration inspired by “The Six Swans”, a popular fairy tale published by the Brothers Grimm. A single performer takes possession of all the characters in the story and gives life to a rhythmic/musical narrative with a strong impact, which gives viewers the atmosphere and landscape of the fairy tale. The research path is an experimentation around technological devices that treat sound material to strengthen its expressive potential and inscribes itself in Tam's research on sound. In “The Six Swans” sounds are designed upon their ability to tell, they become sound symbols, brought to the essence, therefore to the symbolic dimension, so that they can evoke images and reinforce the potential visual story inherent in each fairy tale.
